The Buy Point Investment Newsletter is not about stockmarket tips, day trade recommen-
dations, enticing but unverifiable and misleading performance figures, or so-called pump- and-
dump recommendations whereby a newsletter writer recommends thinly traded shares of
stocks he previously bought for his accounts. It is based on years of practical experience and
study of the markets and volumes of academic research on what really works for the individual
investor with an aim to build wealth for the long term.
Accordingly we usually do not recommend individual shares of companies. If we do so they are
always liquid and actively traded shares which are recommended as part of a basket of stocks
that we assemble for our subscribers. All our other trading recommendations are funds, mainly
ETF's, currency pairs or derivatives which we select based on a range of factors, essentially
technicals (i.e. based on price action and statistical data). We may hold positions in the
instruments we recommend because unlike some other actors in the investment advice
business, we wouldn't be giving recommendations we dont' follow ourselves ! Despite this, the
markets we recommend are so large and so liquid that the buying and selling of our subscribers
do not influence prices to our profit . Indeed whatever our subscribers do, the market will
always reflect the actions of hundreds of thousands of market participants . We have no
agenda other than serving our clients which means being right on the direction of the markets
as often as we can.
